Paramedical tattooing is a specialized form of medical micropigmentation designed to restore, camouflage, or enhance areas affected by surgery, trauma, burns, or other skin irregularities. Unlike cosmetic tattooing, this work focuses on blending altered skin with surrounding tissue in a clinically thoughtful way. Camouflage tattooing blends custom-matched skin tones into the surrounding tissue to reduce visible contrast and create a more natural, integrated appearance.
